Technovation Girls:

Technovation Girls equips young women (ages 8-18) to become tech entrepreneurs and leaders. With the support of volunteer mentors and parents, girls work in teams to code mobile apps that address real-world problems.

Global Judging Process

Important Dates for the Season

  • DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS APRIL 18 BY MIDNIGHT
  • April 29: Technovation Girls Ireland Celebration Event at Microsoft DreamSpace
  • April 30 – May 25: Round 1 Online Judging. 
  • June 2: Technovation will announce semifinalists via email.
  • June 2 – June 16: Round 2 Semifinal Online Judging.
  • Late June/Early July: Competition results released recognizing 12 finalists teams and 10 Regional Winners. Teams will be able to access their scores and certificates at this time.
  • August: Technovation World Summit, where we celebrate the hard work of teams across the world!
And of course it will be fun! In fact, Teen-Turn participants will have
their own celebration event themselves at the end of the season
with cool prizes like Beats, Laptops and a Grand Prize of €1,000.

Who is CWIT? Connecting Women in Technology is a network of Irish based technology companies who all share a common goal to support the development of women in the technology industry. Founded by Accenture, Dell and Microsoft in 2011, the network today spans 20 leading multinational technology companies, who all collaborate to attract, promote and encourage women in STEM careers.
