PLUS sessions take place on Saturdays at: ATU, Galway city campus with fieldtrips to Boston Scientific & Trane Thermo King; UCC Western Gateway with fieldtrips to Stryker; and The Digital Hub Dublin. The aim is to deliver learning opportunities in STEM subjects that are often overlooked or are simply not available to girls in Irish secondary schools. These activities build the foundation knowledge core to third level engineering, computer science and technology courses.
