Girls who previously took part in Teen-Turn, Future Creators or Become an IT Girl are particularly encouraged to participate in the Technovation Challenge 2018.
Every team that reaches the finals will have its trip to California–flights, accommodation and meals–paid for by the organisers.
Haven’t a team? We’ll help you form one! THERE IS NO COST TO PARTICIPATE!
What is Technovation Challenge:
- Technovation is the world’s largest technology entrepreneurship program for girls aged 10-18. It runs across 100+ countries, supported by UNESCO, Peace Corps and UN Women.
- Every year, Technovation invites teams of girls from all over the world to learn and apply the skills needed to solve real-world problems through technology.
- Young girls learn to identify a problem in their community and create a mobile app solution to address that problem, and then learn how to communicate these ideas and translate them into a fully launched business.
- Technovation has run for the last 8 years. In that time 15,000 girls around the world have developed mobile apps and startups to solve problems around a diverse range of problems, including food waste, nutrition, women’s safety and much more.
